Alice Armington - Allie
Allie is a tall, slender, and very attractive brunette with gray eyes, about 33. Even though she was Law Review at Texas, she loves researching cases, but freezes when she presents. Because of this she took a job as Assistant DA for Harris County in the Grand Jury Division. She hates her job and longs to bring down the drug “kings.” After her first brush with the cartel, she transfers out of the DA’s Office to become a partner in the small firm of Perkins, Travis, in Houston, Texas that deals in real estate.

Her parents live in Lampasas where her father practices general law and her mother is a homemaker. While Allie knows she has always been her father’s favorite, it hurts her that her mother dotes on her stunning sister, Angela, who is an internationally recognized fashion model and lives in New York City. Because of this Allie has never felt beautiful. Even with this hang-up she is basically content with her life. She has been a leading money producer for her law firm, is an accomplished golfer and has several close male and female friends.

Duncan Bruce
Duncan Bruce is a recent transfer from Chicago. He has passed the Texas Bar and is now an Assistant DA in the Fraud Division.

His short-cropped black hair echoes the jet of his eyes and bears that blue cast of the Celtic clans. In fact Duncan is a walking ad for Scottish tourism. He and Allie are dating. He’s a master chef and wine connoisseur.

Heavy brows shade deep brown eyes that accent a longish face which ends in a nice square chin. His mouth is a little too wide and his nose a bit too long, but all in all he's a hunk.

Angela Armington
Angela is the beauty of the family and heir to her father’s high cheekbones; her mother's exquisite slightly upturned nose, and some long lost ancestor's tawny spill of waves. Though pushing six feet, she wears size eight, but on her, those haute couture dresses don't seem skimpy at all.

Allie’s older sister by fifteen months, Angela left Lampasas as soon as she graduated high school. She is taller than Allie, but her finely defined features speak to the lens and she has remained an internationally famous model even though she is pushing the age envelope.
